Museum Studies Minor

Museum studies involves the preservation, interpretation, and dissemination of cultural, historical, scientific, and artistic knowledge in meaningful and ethical ways. The minor is designed to prepare students for careers in museums, including: curators, researchers, archivists, conservators, educators, registrars, exhibition designers, fundraisers, and marketing and public relations specialists. It also enables students to work in auction houses, galleries, and non-profit organizations, including art/artist foundations and historic and special interest sites.
