Chemistry Secondary Education Licensure

Chemistry majors may also wish to obtain licensure to teach in grades 7-12 . To earn eligibility for a teaching license in Maryland, all program requirements for the major, concentration, and secondary education program must be met .   See Education, Secondary Education Licensure for more information.

The faculty of the Education Department and the Chemistry and Physics Department will work closely with you to ensure that you are able to meet the requirements of this program.
