NUR 203 PATHO Pathophysiology
Prerequisites: BIOL 104, BIOL 24, CHEM 100 or CHEM 101, and PSY 101 (minimum grades of C); or permission of the department
The course is an applied science and builds on foundational sciences such as biology, chemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology. Principles of pathophysiology will be discussed, including chronic disease states and epidemiology of diseases to better understand the physiology of altered health including cellular, tissue, and organ changes; effects on body function; and planning for therapeutic and preventative measures.
