CMA 312 Introduction to Communication Research

Prerequisites: PSY 211 or MATH 112 or SOC 261; or permission of the instructor. Completion of one or more of the following is recommended, but not required: CMA 100, CMA 310, MGMT 301, or MGMT 306. This course will examine the basic components of communication research including logic, theories, and ethics. Topics covered include the different approaches to communication research, the essential elements of both qualitative and quantitative research, analysis and interpretation of data, and resources available.
