NUR 405 Adult Health III

Prerequisite: NUR 310 and NUR 311 with a C or above; or permission of the instructor.
This course expands on nursing knowledge acquired in Adult Health I and Adult Health II. The focus is on care of the adult in acute care settings with complex critical health problems, clients with multiple co-morbidities, and emergent/traumatic injuries requiring life sustaining measures. Students will use the nursing process to care for patients experiencing life threatening health problems related to alterations in selected body systems.
