ARTS 200 Introduction to Ceramics

Students will learn to identify and apply concepts of three-dimensional design through the studio practice of hand sculpting and wheel throwing procedures in clay. Working through assigned projects, lectures, studio practice, and discussion of specific concepts, students will enhance their communication skills, connect visual results with critical analysis, and challenge their own imaginations.
