English Secondary Education Certification

English majors may also wish to obtain certification to teach in grades 7-12. To earn eligibility for a teaching certificate in Maryland, all program requirements for the major, concentration, and secondary education program must be met. See Secondary Education Certification for more information. Students seeking Secondary Education Certification should choose the Literature concentration.
