Course Waitlists

Full course sections with waitlisted students are reviewed regularly by the registrar’s office and instructors Before a term begins, if seats become available and students are added to rosters from waitlists, the students will receive an email message to their Hood email account notifying them of the schedule change Once the term begins, waitlisted students should attend the first class meeting to ensure they do not miss content. At the end of the class session, the waitlisted students can ask the instructor if they can be added to the roster If so, the approval must be provided in writing to the registrar’s office either by email ( registrar@hood.edu ) or via signature on the registration drop/add form. Attendance as a waitlisted student does not guarantee admission to the course roster. Students who are waitlisted for online coursework may contact the instructor for the virtual class meeting link to attend the session.
