ENV 550R Environmental Policy in Action
Prerequisites: ENV 501 and ENV 502, or permission of instructor
Environmental Policy is more than knowing the laws and history of protecting our natural resources. This course will provide the tools to be an effective communicator on environmental policy at the federal and state level. The focus will be on the primary environmental laws and how to navigate the public process that requires investigation, research and the ability to summarize the information for the public and our legislators. Together, we will take an active role in the Maryland General Assembly on new environmental laws.
