Topics will include discrete and continuous, empirical and stochastic models. Students will use computer software for analysis and simulation and will complete individual and group projects.

Emphasis will be on developing proficiency in proof techniques, mathematical writing conventions, and oral communication.

MATH 335 Teaching Assistantship in Mathematics

Prerequisite: Permission of the department. May be repeated for a maximum of 4 credits. An opportunity for students to serve as teaching assistants for lower-division mathematics courses.
