EDUC 539NBC1 National Board Certification Component 1
This course provides guidance and feedback to candidates in pursuit of National Board Certification. Component 1 is a computer-based assessment that requires candidates to demonstrate understanding of content knowledge and pedagogical practices within their content area. Candidates will prepare for these tasks through analysis of the Architecture for Accomplished Teaching and the Five Core Propositions. Candidate will demonstrate their knowledge of content and pedagogy through completion of constructed response items.
