This course is an introduction to biostatistics, with application to biological science. Topics include descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing (both parametric and non-parametric tests); statistical modeling using regression and ANOVA; and data mining. The R programming language will be taught as a tool for performing the analysis methods taught in this class.
