SPAN 323 Spanish Cinema

Prerequisites: SPAN 203 and one of the following: SPAN 204, SPAN 207, SPAN 208, LSSP 215, LSSP 220 or LSSP 240. This course will focus on selected major works of Spanish cinema produced from the 1930s to the present. Through Spain's cinematic history, students will acquire an understanding of the evolution of Spanish society through the 20th and 21st centuries.
